Delete Your Account
You can delete your BlabbyAI account and everything associated with it at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what gets removed.
Delete from the Blabby Android app
- Open the Blabby app and make sure you are signed in.
- Scroll to the Account section on the home screen.
- Tap Delete account.
- Read the confirmation, then confirm. Your account and data are deleted right away and you are signed out.
Delete by request
If you cannot access the app, email us from the Google address you signed up with at info@blabby.ai with the subject "Delete my BlabbyAI account". We verify that the request comes from the account owner and complete the deletion within 30 days, usually much sooner.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes all of the following from our servers:
- Your account record, including your Google account identifier and email address
- Your custom modes and their instructions
- Your snippets and custom spellings
- Your language preferences and onboarding progress
- Your usage and credit records
- All active sign-in sessions on every device, so you are signed out everywhere
Data stored on your device, such as your recent transcript history and app preferences, is removed when you delete your account or uninstall the app.
What we never stored
Your dictation audio and the resulting transcripts are processed in real time by Zero Data Retention providers and are never stored on our servers, so there is nothing of that kind to delete. See our Privacy Policy for details.
What we may keep
- Billing records: If you ever had a paid subscription, we retain invoices and transaction records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. These are kept by our payment processor and are not used to identify you as an active user.
- A minimal deletion record: We keep a record that a deletion occurred, so we can demonstrate that the request was honored.
